Working with illustrator Mimi Leung and long time collaborator Chris Ruffe, we designed and built this window display for Adidas, via Vice.
In search of a dynamic spatial effect that would enhance Mimi’s dripping illustration style, the characters were cut in rubber and draped from the ceiling with monofilament line. Several layers were set out to underscore the 3D qualities of the display, beginning with the rubber and ending with the banner.
